SOME PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS LOOK DOWN ON YOU

TRYING ON A DIFFERENT BLACK NUMBER YEARS LATER IN CHAPEL STREET, MELBOURNE, VIC, AUSTRALIA JULY, 2017

Did you know some people will always look down on you until they see a different side of you?

You know those kinds that think you are just the sandwich maker, the cleaner or just little lass selling girl guide biscuits.

Like you, I’ve had my fair share of being blocked from Facebook because you may have thought they where nice to you while you where doing an act of service, prephaps to their work place or some friendly gathering?

Don’t let that fear based issue drag you down.

Some years ago, I was invited one late afternoon before leaving work to a cocktail function in the city (Melbourne) and said,  ‘yes.’

I rocked up in my little black number and by the end of the night all those who had thought I was just a sandwich maker, saw me in a new light from that moment…

The kind that just ignored you or said hello when in the lift with others?

BUT

When you returned to work you became a good friends with them or one step better as made their day whenever you passed by.

Trust that it can happen to you, even if people don’t want to be your friend on Facebook long since you left that work place.

Okay, maybe in my field of work I may have gone a bit to friendly in some people’s eyes. But I do what feels comfortable even if others disagree.

The one thing to remember is that you may rise one day, due to a career change or some magic happens and you become a celebrity and the people who don’t want to know you know may come knocking on all your social media accounts…

That’s the benefit of healing yourself is that you get to see or feel those that are not living in their truth. Even to the point that others think they are. You know deep down that there is a mask.

Because.

You can see it.
