Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my journey in healing, life lessons and children’s stories. Hope you have a nice stay!

THE DAY I FLED
THE ACTUAL SOUP THAT WAS MADE THAT NIGHT.

THE ACTUAL SOUP THAT WAS MADE THAT NIGHT.

Seriously, there came a day in my life that will be the day my life changed….

 The day I fled …

All started from the moment I had given my months noticed to vacate a premise. Like anything in life, once you decide to walk away from a situation, things start to escalate. Which did in my case. Check out tides changes only with fake people here.

Only discover that I was asked to leave earlier then intended.

Hence this was a toxic situation from the moment the fakeness could not hide after six months. Then the verbal abuse and belittling emerged and became intolerable, especially as the closer I was to leave and this person ENJOYED ‘getting off’ on putting others down.

~~~
Then the day before I was meant to be out, I returned to residence after a peaceful afternoon sorting out my belongings in the new home, due not being able to fit everything in my car!
So, I returned and finished off sugar soaping the walls and headed to the kitchen and cut up my onion for my dinner, then the phone rang! I answered, my friend was checking in on me.  Then as the conversation continued he’s voice and message became stronger…
‘Get out now, don’t wait till tomorrow. Get out of that toxic situation tonight. Go go go.’
Nonetheless as these words flooded my ears, I entered the kitchen and began throwing the onion in the container and fetched a bag. I tossed my remaining foods in along with every other food and items that was possible then said ‘alright get off the phone.’
Subsequently within minutes of being on the phone, I took the remaining things out the front of the home and fortunately I had parked directly at the bottom of the steps (which I rarely did of late) then retuned back inside to take a video of the room and removed the keys and took a photo.
Then I fled.
 To my car and immediately in the darkness of the car I blocked the number. Then as I was about to head on to Facebook, something within me pushed me to start the car and drive. So I turned the key and drove off to find a safer place to park and entered the Facebook on the web. My hands shook along with my racing heart as this was the first time in my life I had fled and knew it was the right way to end this toxic situation.
Hence, I knew I was not going to receive the monies that were owing to me, my bond and two weeks rent.
 But I know,
The KARMA bus,
Will not let this GO!
