IT CAN’T WAIT

Are you aware that once you begin the decluttering frenzy, that the things often need to be moved on immediately? 

 Because it can’t wait.

It’s like when you are hungry; you know you cannot wait much longer. Same goes for when things, items or objects are ready to leave your life FOREVER…

It never occurred to me before I moved to Melbourne and more so I cannot recall having to move the things from my home instantly once I had decided. 

It all began when I started my healing journey, especially since the beginning of Reiki. As that is what Level One is about, routine changes and clearing your surroundings. Even years later, because Reiki is a continuous progress. You just get more ruthless and it becomes a way of life.

Over the years whenever the cleaning fits showed, often about two weeks before going away to visit family or a retreat. The fit’s started and by the time I had reached my time to leave, I had combed over my entire belongings till there is nothing left to toss at that point in time. 

Then once I had the ‘stuff’ ready to go, I had to work out how to get the items out of my house as soon as possible. They now held energy like a bag of smelly rubbish! 

It can’t wait till next day or for a friend to visit. It had to go. Fortunately all the houses I lived in during these years of decluttering, I was positioned near a clothing bin, or a rubbish dump at work to even manifesting a skip bin in the neighbourhood. It doesn’t matter how it goes, it’s just it cannot wait a second longer. 

Then in those times when I was living a bit of a hike to a clothing bin, I often put the bags in my car till I drove that way. 

It’s been a long journey and close to eight years (but the end of 2018) of this tossing and sorting out what needs to kept. But all worth it and much easier to see what I have. 

Until I’m in my own home.

And can buy what really resonates with me. 

What ever décor that is at the time.

In time.

I will know.
